Due to experts opinions airports should not be localized within the administrative borders of the big cities. In the meantime Poznań has two airports, which have been under development in recent years. The restricted area around the airport of the Poznan – Lawica was created in relation with the noise generated by aircrafts. Only until the end of February 2014 residents of the restricted area may submit claims related to decrease of the value of their properties and related to the necessity of modernization of their buildings in order to ensure that it is quiet inside their houses.
